Foresight supports the World Economy and Finance Programme

Foresight has success helped WEFP stage two highly successful conferences tackling some of the major financial and political issues of the day.

The two events, “Africa after the Financial Crisis: The Forgotten Continent” and “Picking up the Pieces: Challenges for Policy and Theories in the Years Ahead”, were extremely well received by the audiences and included a top class field of speakers including George Alogoskoufis (Former Minister for Economics and Finance, Greece), Kern Alexander (Professor of Banking and Financial Market Law, University of Zurich), Tony Yates (Bank of England), David Vines (Oxford) and many more.
